VIPS'MIND is a website where users can create messages for their future selves in the form of letters or videos and lock them until the chosen time arrives. Basically, vipsmind.in is a time capsule for user messages.

The idea behind VIPS'MIND is simple but different: instead of only thinking about the future, you can leave something for your future self and decide when you will be able to see it again. It can be a letter written today, a video recorded today, a personal goal, a thought, a promise, or simply something you want your future self to remember.

VIPS'MIND is designed as an experience rather than just a single page. The website contains an introduction page, login page, home page, type selection page, single and group challenge pages, video and writing pages, a goals page, and a view page.

Entering VIPS'MIND

The experience begins with the intro page. It introduces the idea of VIPS'MIND before the user enters the main experience.

After continuing, the user reaches the login page. Once logged in, the user enters the VIPS'MIND home page.

The home page is intentionally simple. It focuses on the idea behind the website: A Message To Your Future Self.

Instead of filling the screen with unnecessary information, the design keeps attention on the experience itself.

Choosing a Challenge

From the home page, the user can choose between a Single or Group challenge.

A Single challenge is designed for one person. A Group challenge allows multiple people to create something together.

After selecting the challenge type, the user moves to the Type page, where the next part of the experience begins.

The user can choose between creating a written letter or recording a video.

This creates four possible experiences:

• Single Letter
• Single Video
• Group Letter
• Group Video

Each path has its own page and interaction instead of putting everything into one complicated screen.

Creating a Single Letter

In the Single Letter experience, the user can write a message for their future self.

This could be anything meaningful to the person writing it. It could describe where they are today, what they want to achieve, what they are thinking about, or what they hope their future self has accomplished.

Once the letter is written, the user reaches the important final step: setting the unlock time.

The user chooses when the challenge should become available.

The message is then placed and locked.

Creating a Single Video

VIPS'MIND also allows a user to record a video instead of writing a letter.

The user can record themselves speaking directly to their future self. This makes the time capsule more personal because the future version of the user will eventually be able to see and hear the person they were when the video was created.

After recording the video, the user sets the unlock time and places the challenge.

The video is then stored as part of the challenge until its chosen time arrives.

Creating a Group Challenge

The Group experience adds another dimension to VIPS'MIND.

A user can create a group challenge by providing a group name and the number of members participating.

Members can then contribute their own letters or videos.

For a group letter challenge, members write their messages one by one. For a group video challenge, members record their videos one by one.

When everyone has completed their part, the group challenge reaches the final stage.

The creator then chooses the unlock time.

The entire challenge is placed and locked together.

The Challenge Is Placed

This is one of the most important moments in the VIPS'MIND experience.

Once the challenge has been successfully placed, the website records the lock time and the selected unlock time.

The challenge is no longer something the user can simply open whenever they want.

It becomes a message waiting for its future moment.

The user is then taken back toward the VIPS'MIND experience, where the home page can show the countdown.

The Countdown

After a challenge has been placed, the VIPS'MIND home page can display a live countdown.

The countdown shows the remaining time until the challenge becomes available.

For example, the user may see something like:

Every second brings the user closer to the moment when their challenge can finally be opened.

This countdown is an important part of the concept because the waiting itself becomes part of the experience.

Goals and the Locked Challenge

The Goals page provides another view of the locked challenge.

While the challenge is still locked, its content remains unavailable. The experience can show that the challenge was locked, along with the lock date and unlock date.

The idea is not simply to hide the content. It is to make the user aware that something is waiting for them in the future.

The message exists, but the future version of the user has not reached it yet.

Finally, Viewing the Future Message

When the selected unlock time arrives, the challenge can finally be opened.

The user can then reach the View page and see the content that was created in the past.

A letter written months or even years earlier can suddenly become a message from the past to the present.

A video recorded long ago can become a visual reminder of who the user was at that moment.

That is what makes VIPS'MIND different.

It is not simply about storing a letter or recording a video. It is about creating a moment that exists between who you are today and who you will become later.
